Earn Points Toward Recertification
Authors and reviewers for The NDT Technician: A Quarterly
Publication for the NDT Practitioner can earn points toward recertification
in the following ASNT certificate programs: ACCP Level II, ACCP Professional
Level III, and ASNT NDT Level III. A full article of 1,000 words or
greater earns 3 points. Short articles or items for the “Working
Smarter” feature earn 1 point. Those individuals interested in
preparing topics for publication or in acting as a reviewer of TNT should
contact the TNT editor. Areas of interest for potential topics include:
NDT information for specific industries (power generation, petroleum
refineries), basic equipment calibration techniques, and developing
technology. Contributions or suggestions on other topics are
welcome. Certificate holders are responsible for documenting
their activity. Points are earned according to the terms and conditions
currently posted at www.asnt.org/certification/recertification.htm.
