Courses in Nondestructive Testing
This directory of educational institutions engaged in teaching nondestructive testing (NDT) has been produced by ASNT’s Publications Department on the basis of surveys and inquiries. The listing is divided into sections according to the type of institution offering instruction: vocational /technical schools generally offer a course of study leading to a diploma or an associate’s degree; junior colleges generally offer a course of study leading to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree; senior colleges generally offer courses of study leading to a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree; industrial/corporate institutions offer professional training, which may or may not include some form of certification or diploma. After the name, address, phone number and contact person, information about the program follows — usually including the methods taught, the number of contact hours for each, the enrollment in the NDT courses and the year when the facility first offered NDT coursework.
