The major objectives of the ASNT Continuing Education Programs are:

learning events to respond to the needs of nondestructive testing (NDT)
professionals (2) to encourage continuing education in NDT and related
technology; (3) to establish permanent records for individual participants
for accumulating, updating, and transferring information concerning
noncredit continuing education experiences; (4) to maintain the standards
of excellence that allow ASNT to be an Approved Provider by the International
Association for Education and Training (IACET).
History of ASNT Continuing Education Program and Awarding Continuing
Education Units (CEU)
